My name is Bill Davis and I am the publisher of Internet Marketing Muscle. I am also known as billspaced on many forums and blogs. I’ve been online since 1995, but I got my first computer when I was 12. It was a Commodore Vic20! It didn’t do much, but play chess, so that’s what I did.

In the late ’80s, as I was entering college, I bought a screaming 286 PC. I think it had a whopping 640k of RAM and a 40 megabyte hard drive. I used that computer for a lot of stuff, but mostly for writing and printing (on a wide-carriage dot matrix printer, no less) term papers.

Fast forward to 1995, when I got my first taste of Windows 95. It’s been all online since then! I’ve started computer consulting companies, a tax business, a resume writing service, and a PC repair business. Now, I do a little web design work. However, I spend a ton of time developing my two “expert niches.”

Bodybuilding and Internet Marketing. Hence, the name — Internet Marketing Muscle.

I am the father of two, the husband of one :) Therefore I am a father and husband first, an internet marketer a distant second. My aspirations for my online businesses are to enable me to “quit my day job” and work full-time online. It’s a competitive industry, but I think I have the tools, knowledge, and determination to make it work.

It is my sincere hope that I can help you along the way, too. I’ve amassed a large volume of both original and 3rd-party material that is specifically related to getting your online business up and running, promoting your business, and growing your business, all on a shoestring budget.

Of course, you can always pay for traffic — you’ll get there faster. I am no PPC expert, but I have access to a ton of worthwhile, actionable material on the subject.

I tend to focus on “free traffic.” Of course, nothing is free. Traffic of this nature usually takes time. So, if you’re in a hurry, there may be better places to visit first. However, if you’re like me, you have bills, family obligations, a job, and other commitments that you have to address before you can even entertain the thought of an advertising budget.

In fact, most of my first few years in internet marketing have been in building traffic through proper SEO, backlinks, making valuable comments on blogs and forums, and writing articles. This is the bulk of what I’ll concentrate on here at this site.

I hope you learn a lot; additionally, I hope that I can shorten your learning curve so that you don’t make all the mistakes I made and that you don’t constantly spin your wheels like I’ve done in the past.

Please check out the site and if there’s anything you’d like to comment on or make suggestions, please do so either on each individual post or on my contact form.
